And then I joined this CSA and so far we have gotten a lot of squash so I’ve been experimenting. We had the first round grilled on skewers seasoned with salt, pepper, lemon juice and olive oil. They were off the chain.
Then tonight I used those funny little patty pan squash to make this creamed squash recipe I found online and it is GOOOOOD. Makes a great vegetarian main dish, I think. Lots of butter in it but next time I think I might cut the butter in half.
